Ethiopian "Misty Valley"
Unwashed Yirgacheffe

Roast: Light Full City

Two words: Blueberry Explosion.

Seriously, I haven't gotten my hands on an Ethiopian with this kind of distinct berry note for several years. It's like the best Harar you've ever had, with a little flicker of bright citrus and floral Yirgness on top. Dry-process Yirgs such as this one are a recent phenomenon...Ethiopia's highest grown, highest quality beans, processed in a fashion like the lower grown but often more interesting Harars and Sidamos. You will not be disappointed with this coffee.

This is some rather expensive and exclusive stuff for us, and it's really tasty, so to ensure that everyone who wants to try it gets to try it, we're selling 1-pound bags only. Enjoy!

Kenya AA
Roast: Light Full City

We always try to find Kenyas that exhibit some specific traits; namely, a fruity and "jammy" acidity that is more muted. Many coffees from this origin venture into the citrus range, and while those are interesting flavors to find in coffee, they're just not ones we look for in Kenya. At any rate, we roast our Kenya fairly light, and it's always delicious - a strong contender for "favorite."

Rwanda Kinunu 100% Bourbon
Roast: Full City

Wow! Is this some great stuff. We love Bourbon coffees around here, and this one is the star of the moment. A very nice meticulous preparation, roasted right up to second crack.

In the cup you won't find a bountiful cornucopia of pretentious flavors that force you to go into a special closed-door session with the culinary supertaster you retain on your staff for emergencies. Just lots of caramel, a little acidic crackle on top, smooth but not overbearing body, and an overall balance. Ranks high on the chuggability list.

Sorry, temporarily sold out until May/June. Coffee this good goes fast!
